Katsina State Government sworn new Head of Civil service

The Katsina State Government has sworn in new head of civil service Alhaji Idris Usman Tune. The Katsina State Governor Rt Hon. Aminu Bello Masari on his twitter made this known “In line with our zeal and commitment on the reinvigoration of the State Civil Service, we have today sworn in Alhaji Idris Usman Tune as the new Head of the Civil Service. It is our belief that he will bring his vast experience to bear in this onerous responsibility.” The swearing in took place at the Government house of Katsina State.

New Refinery to be Constructed in Katsina


Katsina refinery becomes a reality as Buhari, Moumadou Issoufou signed MoU.

IBRAHIM ZAKARI TALBA the founder of BLAKOIL ENERGY REFINERY will spearhead the first 100% private driven Refinery in the north of Nigeria to be built in Mashi Town of katsina state.

The REFINERY is a project worth $2 billion (over N700 billion). It is projected to employ over 2,500 direct employment and over 10,000 in direct employment not only to the state but Nigerians in general.

The event tookplace in the Presidential Villa Abuja wherw the Minister of State Petroleum Mr Ibe Kachikwu and his Niger counterpart sign the final bilateral trade agreement on Tuesday 24th July 2018 in the Presidential Villa Abuja.

The ministry of Petroleum resources in a short statement issued to newsmen then explained that the refinery project would also include a crude oil pipeline that is expected to come from Niger Republic, indicating the plant would be fed crude oil from Niger.
